Quest Events have been providing teambuilding events in Ireland and abroad since 1993 and pioneered this concept in Ireland. Many of Irelands leading companies have benefited form Quest Events resorts programs.

Basic rules of teambuilding

The group must enjoy the activity

  • Have a short, medium and long term plan for teambuilding.
  • Know where the latest event fits into your plan.
  • The event must be challenging and engaging for all the members of the group
  • The event must be designed to utilise a variety of skill sets therefore utilising each member of the team in the session.
  • It must be possible to draw parallels with work and the activity.
  • Ideally have a brief at the end of the activity, clearly outlining the parallels and learning’s achieved.
  • Measure the success of the event with either an open session prior to the day or a questionnaire.
  • Any de-brief is much more successful if an outside facilitator controls the session, being seen as not having anything to gain from the conclusions drawn.
    The session will be less like a lecture session.
